OUR STORY
In late 2015, a blue lamp in the foyer sparked a conversation between Chetna Baveja and Ritu Nagpal about all things interior design. After discovering their mutual passion for interiors, Chetna and Ritu invited one another to collaborate on their respective projects at the time. They immediately recognized their working chemistry and decided to join forces to pursue interior design full-time. Three months later, Blue Lamp Interiors was born.
Taking inspiration from their shared cultural heritage and mutual love for travel, Chetna and Ritu draw from a robust color palette and a wide range of architectural and interior design styles to create unique and inviting spaces for each of their clients. They bring their global perspective, passion for design and dedication to the creative process to each project they take on.

Ritu lives in San Francisco with her husband and three children. She is a native Californian, who in her free time enjoys traveling, reading, skiing and listening to live music.
With an MBA from the Anderson School at UCLA, Ritu is anxious to bring her business sensibilities to the world of design.

Chetna Baveja lives in San Francisco with her husband, two children and two dogs.
In her spare time, she too loves to travel, read and explore the culinary delights in the City.
After many years of practicing aesthetic dentistry with an all female staff, she is eager to bring her eye for detail to interior design.
